Ever since releasing Ironwire many years ago, people have been asking us to make a reflective version of it. So I did. But I never officially released it.. I have made it for a few companies over the years as "custom cordage". But the request line has stayed open and people keep asking for it... So I decided to officially start selling it as a stock product. Like Ironwire, the jacket is made using a Fusion of High Tenacity Polyester and Dyneema SK75. And like Glowire, I use twice as much 3M Scotchlite Reflective as everyone else. This makes for a very reflective, super high strength cord. The hybrid jacket construction takes advantage of both fibers strengths, resulting in a product that is extremely strong, low stretch, abrasion resistant, UV resistant, won't freeze, knots and unknots really great, and has out of this world cut resistance. The core is made using 100% Dyneema SK78 which is high strength, low creep version of SK75. Made in the USA, using the best materials on Earth!

FAQ.. How to melt the core and jacket together?

The simple and easy solution is to go back from the tail end of the cord about a foot or two and milk the Polyester/Dyneema jacket over the Dyneema core. Once you make the jacket slightly longer than the core (you only need to make it about 1/8"), then it's time to melt the ends together. The Polyester/Dyneema jacket will encapsulate over the Dyneema core locking it in place. It is a permanent solution that you can use with all cords/ropes with different yarn chemistries.

Our Reflective Ultraglide bear line was specifically designed to be used as a bear bagging line. It is Ultra Strong, Ultra Slick, Ultra Light and Ultra Tough. Our cord is made using Dyneema SK75 which is one of the slickest, strongest and lightest weight fibers ever created. Unlike other throw lines on the market that have vinyl or urethane coatings. Ours does not, as we wanted to maximize its slipperiness. Dyneema Fibers Coefficient of Friction is comparable to that of Teflon, but the Dyneema Fiber we use has much better abrasion resistance. 15 times more abrasion resistance than carbon steel. This is like having a non-stick coating on your throwline. Which means, that our UltraGlide effortlessly glides and slides over tree limbs and will not get hung up. Gear testers have commented that it feels like there is a pulley in the tree's. The cord features a double color fleck of orange which adds a pop of color to the line and protects the 3M reflective tracer from abrasion. After braiding, the line is pre-stretched and polished which makes the surface extra smooth. While its super slick, it holds knots well. But we recommend a little extra tail on your knots. The diameter is little larger than other throwlines, so its easier on your hands and tree limbs. This is the best bear bagging line out there. Our Technora Toughlaces are the strongest, most burly boot/shoe lace ever created. The Toughlaces are made from Technora fiber which is a high tech para-aramid like Kevlar, but better as it excels in flex fatigue which means it is commonly used in fire rescue ropes to save lives, body armor to stop bullets, and high performance sails to win world cup races. How to use:

Thread the end of the cord through one hole and then back through the other hole making a U. Tie a knot. To pull tensioner tight you slide it up the line. To loosen tension, twist the tensioner in the opposite direction. Thats it. They are that easy to use.
